One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received was at Ohio State Cross Country Camp in high school. I was told to eliminate the word "too" from my vocabulary. It is never too hot, it is never too cold, it is never too early, it is never too late, it is never too hard, you are never too tired, and it is never too much. Although very applicable to running, I find myself living by this mantra in all aspects of my life. I am always looking for the next adventure, the next discovery, and the next moment of my life in which I find myself quoting Mr. Audubon.

The next step is never too far away.
